Talking about CETANE BOOSTER

So I’ve been looking for a decent source of amyl nitrite, as the model I’m building is definitely in need of some good fuel to use. It’s just hard to get a hold of though, cos I know some people want to use it for sex reasons, but I genuinely just want to make my models go! 

I’m trying to get my cetane numbers higher for my engine, because I’ve been having trouble getting them to start more smoothly. I’m looking for something in the 1-3% range, so I can have a smaller delay when the ignition starts and to stop the engine from freezing over, as it’s pretty cold where I live. 

I get that some people used to abuse it for sex reasons, but they’ve also shown that it’s not as bad as the people who banned it think it is. If I remember correctly, there’s even been studies that show it doesn’t have as bad an effect on the body as people thought it did back in the 70s and 80s. I really think we need to re-evaluate what we think is dangerous and let people use common sense with the products we buy. If you’re on this site looking for fuel for your model, you’re probably old enough and sensible enough to make your own decisions for yourself! If it were up to me, we’d be able to buy it whenever we wanted and we’d all just mind our own business too. But yeah, if anyone’s got a good source as to where I can get some amyl, let me know.
